History of brewery
The Captain Cook Brewery was established in 1999 by Brian Skipp the landlord of The White Swan at the time. The brewery has continued to grow over the past 19 years, now offering 9 different beers, and will be celebrating its 20 year anniversary in 2019!
About The White Swan
The White Swan is a traditional and friendly real ale pub. Offering a number of different ales aswell as our own from our Captain Cook Brewery. Now affiliated with the Captain Cook Distillery also, we offer a range of different drinks and a warm fire to welcome you in! A number of events are held throughout the week, plus our Beer Festivals which are held twice a year!
