History

The Captain Cook Brewery was established in 1999 by Brian Skipp the landlord of The White Swan at the time. The brewery has continued to grow over the past 19 years, now offering 9 different beers, and will be celebrating its 20 year anniversary in 2019!

Drinks

Slipway 4.2% – A full flavoured, light coloured, hoppy ale

Sunset 4% – An extremely smooth, light ale

Endeavour 4.3% – A mid brown, strong tasting bitter

Black Porter 4.4% – A dark, malty ale

Navigator 4% – pale ale with hints of grapefruit and spruce

IPA 5.1% – Well hopped, tradition Indian Pale Ale

APA 4.7% – Slightly sweet, American hopped pale ale

Schooner 4.7% – Traditional stout

Resolution 3.7% – Light and hoppy session ale
